SGPA stands for Semester Grade Point Average. It measures your academic performance for a single semester by calculating the weighted average of grade points earned in that semester's courses.
How is SGPA Calculated?
SGPA = Σ (Grade Point × Credits) / Σ Credits

SGPA Calculation Example
- Database Systems (4 credits): A = 9 → 36
- Operating Systems (4 credits): A+ = 10 → 40
- Networks (3 credits): B+ = 8 → 24
- Math-III (3 credits): A = 9 → 27
- Lab (2 credits): A = 9 → 18
Total quality points: 145. Total credits: 16. SGPA = 145/16 = 9.06
